Knowing about breast and cervical cancer could save your life. The Women’s Health Network is here to help women, trans men and non-binary people to learn more about these diseases. We can assist those who are low income and ages 40-64 with breast cancer services and ages 21-64 with cervical cancer services. The program is designed to help you understand the benefits of early detection and fin out where you can get screened.
The Women’s Health Network is supported by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
We’re here to:
If you haven’t been screened, or haven’t been screened in a long time, talk with your provider to find out if you’re eligible for CHA’s Women’s Health Network program.
Breast and cervical cancers may not always cause symptoms, but there are screenings that can find them early, when treatment works best.
Our Women’s Health Network Patient Navigators understand your culture and often speak your language (some may use CHA interpreters). They work to schedule you for screenings quickly, cost effectively and work with clinical providers to make referrals. They can help you understand breast and cervical cancer and connect you with care. Please contact Isabel Haraguchi for more information about how to enroll in the program.
Interested in hosting an educational workshop or would like us to join your community event to offer education about breast and/or cervical cancer? Please contact Jamila Xible for more information about the helpful ways we are keeping people healthy.
